I am a dual French-British national. I hold a degree in English and French law with French language awarded by the Universities of East Anglia and Lyons (Jean Moulin III). I have recently completed an MA in Translation with Distinction. After qualifying and working as a Barrister in London, I have worked in the French Real Estate industry since 2001. I am also a certified Property Valuer.

I provide a wide range of Translation, Interpretation, Consulting and Lawyer-Linguist services, including in-person and video link interpreting. I am specialised in Real Estate, Private Law (contracts, divorce, wills, probate), Administrative Law (residency permits, nationality applications, health card registration) and I also have Corporate Law (companies and sole traders) expertise.

Translation (French<>English): Legal, Marketing and Commercial texts. Post-editing of machine translations.

Interpretation: In-person at formal, official and informal meetings (southwest of France) and online via video link (Zoom, Skype). Specialism: meetings with notaries, property, wills and probate.

Consulting: Real Estate (house purchase, sale, ownership including agricultural properties, planning); business set-up and registration; various aspects of living and working in France. I offer read-throughs of documents with a consultation to discuss the contents or a written report.

Administrative: letter writing; form-filling; telephone calls; applications for permits, licences, nationality, residency, health cards; liaising with officials, companies, banks, tradespeople, service providers.

I am also trained in animal care, behaviour and health with a specific focus on horses, dogs and cats. This means that I can also translate veterinary and related texts, as well as interpret in the domain, and I also have experience in the agricultural field.
